Thanks for this, Eric,

But (and I realize that you understand this already) the problems with the article don't undermine your general thesis but only some of the specifics to which you refer/appeal to elaborate it. Your thoughts around this notion of rustic wisdom are very much worth pursuing regardless, even those expressed in the problematic post. Therefore, as I commented previously, I hope you'll continue to pursue this.
